UAH improves to 8-19 on the year, 3-7 in the GSC, while West Georgia falls to 8-19 overall and 2-8 in league play.

Ruple continued to lead the squad, posting a match-high 15 kills and 13 digs to mark her 10th double-double of the season. Sophomores Angela Thurmond and Stacey Sargent joined Ruple with double-digit kills of 11 and 10, respectively, while junior Kelly Wilson handed out a match-high 44 assists.

In addition, the Lady Chargers were as efficient as they have been all year, tallying a season-best .294 hitting percentage. On the flip side, UAH held West Georgia to a .203 hitting percentage.

After falling to the Wolves, 25-18, in the first set, the Lady Chargers answered back with a close 25-22 victory in the second game. UAH continued to pile the pressure on in the third set, jumping out to a 19-10 lead en route to 25-15 win to take a 2-1 advantage over West Georgia.
