TOURNAMENT SITE | LIVE STATS | LIVE VIDEO
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The University of Alabama in Huntsville volleyball team travels to Pensacola, Fla., this weekend for the 2012 Gulf South Conference Tournament where they enter as the No. 6 overall seed.

The Lady Chargers (11-20, 5-11 GSC) will play the final game of the quarterfinals on Friday against No. 6-seeded West Georgia (15-14, 10-6 GSC) at 7:30 p.m. The winner of that match will play the winner of No.2 Christian Brothers and No. 7 West Alabama at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Looking to make a run to the NCAA Tournament, UAH will have to do so on the home floor of West Florida, where they will likely have to go through the league's No. 3, No. 2 and No. 1 seeds.

First the Lady Chargers must knock off West Georgia, a team they lost to in both meeting this year. UAH fell 3-1 in Carrollton, Ga., and 3-0 at home. The Wolves are one of the GSC's hottest teams, having won their last five matches to end the regular season.

Meanwhile, UAH comes in after winning their final match of the season against Union, but prior to that had lost nine straight. The Lady Chargers are hoping to get hot at the right time.

The objective is clear; UAH will have to win three matches in three days to continue their 2012 season. First up is day one against West Georgia at 7:30 p.m. on Friday night.
