HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's basketball team returns to Kelly Court at Spragins Hall on Saturday evening to host in-state rival North Alabama in both team's regular-season finale. Tipoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. CST with the contest being broadcast on 97.7 FM The Zone and streamed online by America One.
UAH enters the contest with a 21-4 overall mark and 11-2 in the Gulf South Conference, and can wrap up its first-ever GSC title with a victory over the Lions. In addition, the Lady Chargers can tie the second-most wins in a single season in program history with a win on Saturday. The 1981-82 team won 22 games while the 1982-83 squad claimed 27 contests.
Saturday's game will also be 'Senior Day' for the Lady Chargers as they recognize the team's two seniors in guard
Emily Jones and manager Christen Finley.
UNA (13-12, 4-9 GSC) hasn't won on the road in GSC play this season, and will have to face a Lady Charger team that hasn't dropped a game at Spragins Hall all year. UAH is 12-0 this season at home, and has won 16 of the last 17 games dating back to last year. With a victory, UAH will post its first unblemished home record in program history.
The Lady Chargers come into Saturday's tilt scoring 78.1 points per game, eighth best in the nation. When playing at Spragins Hall, UAH is scoring 83.0 points per contest at home.

Bailee Robinson is averaging 11.4 points and 4.6 rebounds per outing.
For UNA, Jasmine Horne leads the team in scoring as the only player in double figures, averaging 11.6 points per game. Horne also leads the conference in steals with 2.9 swipes per contest.
The Lady Chargers will play next in the GSC Tournament as either the No. 1 or No. 2 seed. The tournament will be played in Niceville, Fla., at The Arena on the campus of Northwest Florida State College. The quarterfinals tipoff on March 1 at 12:30 p.m. CST.
