HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's soccer team will look to win back-to-back games as the Chargers travel to Union in Jackson, Tenn., on Monday night with kick-off scheduled for 7 p.m. UAH goes into the contest with a record of 1-6 (0-3 Gulf South Conference), while Union owns a mark of 2-2-2 (1-1-1 GSC).
Union is on the same path to full membership in NCAA Division II and the GSC as Shorter and thus is not eligible for postseason play.
The Chargers picked up their first win of the season on Saturday, defeating Georgia Southwestern in a non-conference tilt as
Ragnar Leosson scored in the 88th and 89th minutes to produce the 2-0 victory. The Akranes, Iceland, native has four goals and an assist to possess a team-best nine points on the season.
The Bulldogs defeated Shorter their last time out, winning 3-1 in Rome, Ga., and the squad is led offensively by Guilherme Reis who has scored five times.
