Box Score 2 CARROLTON, Ga. – The UAH volleyball team wrapped up the second day of competition at the West Georgia Crossover Saturday, falling to both Lynn and Saint Leo in straight sets.

Haley Snyder continued her strong play, leading the Lady Chargers in kills with 14 while
Ashton Baker recorded her 10th double-double of the season with 35 assists and 12 digs.
Freshman
Shelby Traff also notched a season-high seven kills for UAH.
Lynn jumped out to an early 7-1 lead in the beginning of the first set. However, led by a balanced attack by
Rachel Brugman, Snyder and Traff, the Lady Chargers rallied to tie the game at 15 apiece.
Following a quick four points by the Fighting Knights, UAH cut the lead to one on two separate occasions before Lynn prevailed in the end 25-22.
UAH would cut the lead to three in the second set 11-8, however Lynn took control from that moment, outscoring the Lady Chargers 14 -6 in the process to capture the second set.
In the final set, the Lady Chargers had their best chance to extend the match when they needed one more point to take the set before Lynn scored four of the final five points to claim the match.
Saint Leo-3 UAH -0
In the ensuing match against Saint Leo, Saint Leo took control early as the Lions wouldn't trail during the entire set, with the set ended quickly at 25-13.
UAH gave a better performance the second set despite losing 25-18. The Lady Chargers cut the lead to three, 12-9, following a kill by Traff before Saint Leo reeled off 13 of the next 22 points to capture the second set 25-18.
Trailing 18-10 in the third set, the Lady Chargers went on a 11-4 run to make it 22-21.
Kendall Knisley held serve for four of the points while also chipping in with a kill during the run. Snyder contributed two kills as well, ;however, the run would end there as Saint Leo ended the match scoring four of the next five points to win.
Brugman and Snyder would end competition leading the Lady Chargers with seven kills each while Baker tallied her second double-double of the day with 18 assists and 10 digs. Traff performed well on the day, finishing with six kills to total 13 on the day as well.
Stacy Sargent finished with 10 digs to tie her for the team lead.
The Lady Chargers will return to GSC play when the welcome Valdosta State to Spragins Hall on Friday, Oct. 25, at 7 p.m.
