About the Chargers

REGULAR SEASON FINALE: The Chargers will be playing their final game of what has been a tremendous turnaround season. After posting just one victory a season ago, UAH has recorded nine wins this year while also doubling its scoring output as the team has 27 goals this year compared to just 13 in 2012.

LEADER OF THE PACK: Kyle Simmons continues to pace the Gulf South Conference in scoring with his 12 goals on the season. The junior from Huntsville also ranks among the nation's best as he is 17th in Division II. He ranked 24th his freshman year with 13 scores, and for his career, Simmons has registered 30 goals.

SCOREBOARD WATCHING: UAH will hold either the No. 2 or 3 seed at the upcoming Gulf South Conference Championships. To jump West Alabama and claim the second spot, the Chargers must defeat Union while UWA has to lose to or tie with West Florida. The Argos and Tigers kick-off at 7:30 p.m. in Livingston, Ala.

About the Opponent

ABOUT THE BULLDOGS: Union welcomes the Chargers with a 3-10-1 overall record on the year with a record of 1-10-1 in the GSC. The Bulldogs are currently on a nine-game losing streak with their last win coming in a 1-0 upset over West Florida on Sept. 20. Union is also winless at home on the year.

BALANCED EFFORT: The Bulldogs are led by a balanced attack as five different players have three goals to lead Union. Caleb Mills has a team-high two assists on the season while sophomore goalkeeper Matt Kesler leads the team with 76 saves and a 1.85 goals against average.
