About the Lady Chargers

HITTING THEIR STRIDE – With the season winding down and the Gulf South Conference Tournament right around the corner, the Lady Chargers are peaking at the right time of the season. UAH has won four of the past five matches while dropping one set in their four victories.
 
DEAL IT UP:  Sophomore Alexis Deal played a pivotal role in the Lady Chargers' victory over UNA Tuesday. The Birmingham, Ala., native finished with 10 digs and four assists as the team's secondary setter. Deal is also third on the team with 58 blocks for UAH.
 
GSC STANDINGS UPDATE – The Lady Chargers stand at fifth place in the conference for teams eligible to play in the postseason. If the tournament started today, UAH would face off against West Georgia as the fifth seed.

About the Opponents

WEST ALABAMA:  The Lady Tigers are currently 10-15 on the season while standing at 3-11 in the GSC. UWA has lost four of the five matches while recently suffering a straight-set defeat to Christian Brothers. The Lady Chargers will look to take advantage of the Lady Tigers' 1-4 record at home. Five different players have more than 100 kills for UWA, including two with over 200.
 
WEST FLORIDA:   UWF boasts a record of 20-7 on the season with a first-place record of 12-2 in the GSC. The Argos are winners of eight of their last ten matches while recently defeating Christian Brothers (3-0) and Union (3-1).  Lindsay
Homme leads the Argos with 254 kills while notching a team-best 91 kills, which also tops in the conference.

Series History

The Lady Chargers hold a 33-25 advantage over the Lady Tigers. UAH defeated UWA earlier this season at Spragins Hall in five sets.

West Florida holds the upper hand in the series with UAH, owning a 17-7 record over the Lady Chargers. UWF dealt a straight-set defeat over UAH earlier this season.
