PREVIOUS MATCHUPS: The Chargers collected wins in and out of conference in their last two matches.  UAH defeated West Georgia in Carrollton in three sets (25-18, 25-15, 26-24) as well as Trevecca Nazarene in Nashville in four (25-14, 25-17, 27-29, 25-17).
 
HOT ON THE ROAD: UAH has won four of their last five road games and five of their last six games overall. UAH picked up road wins against West Alabama, Union, West Georgia and Trevecca Nazarene. The Chargers began their eight-game road swing on Oct. 2 and have only dropped three sets total in their four road wins.
 
SETTING THE PACE: Ashton Baker has been key to the Chargers resurgence as well as her own as of late. Baker has tallied at least 34 assists in four of her last five games, totaling 173 over the five-game road streak. She has also registered four double-doubles in that time, collecting 62 digs total.
 
GSC STANDINGS: The Chargers are currently fifth in the Gulf South Conference standings at 8-5. They are currently two games behind third place Valdosta State. The Chargers finished seventh in 2013 with a 7-11 final GSC record.
 
ABOUT THE MATCHUPS: UAH has an all-time record of 15-21 against Henderson State and a 4-3 all-time record against Ouachita Baptist. The Chargers lost to Ouachita Baptist in five sets in the Huntsville Marriott UAH Classic earlier this year. UAH has never played Southeastern Oklahoma State.
 
ABOUT THE SAVAGE STORM: Southeastern Oklahoma State enters the weekend 11-9, winning three of its last four. Their most recent match was a road loss to Southwestern Oklahoma State in five sets. The Storm is led by Megan Kunkel who is averaging 2.99 kills per set, while Emily Gentile is not far behind with 2.74. Alissa Benson leads the offense with 8.25 assists per set, while adding 1.74 digs per set and 33 total blocks.
 
ABOUT THE REDDIES: Henderson State, who will be hosting the invitational, goes into the weekend 3-17 on the year, and is 1-1 in its recent two-game home stand. Jessica Moss and Nayeli Colunga lead the Reddie offense with 3.55 and 2.67 kills per set respectfully. The defense is anchored by Andjela Reljic with 337 digs on the season at a rate of 4.81 per set.
 
ABOUT THE TIGERS: Ouachita Baptist enters the invitational 11-6, coming off a win versus Southern Arkansas. Before their latest victory the Tigers were on a three-game skid, their longest of the season. The Tigers offensive leaders are Abby Pickett and Kelley Ballard who lead the team with 2.23 and 1.91 kills per set. Ballard is also has a strong presence on defense, leading the Tigers with 51 total blocks.
 
PINK NIGHT: Tuesday night, Oct. 21 at Spragins Hall will be "Pink Night" to promote breast cancer awareness. The Chargers' opponent will be Christian Brothers and the game is slated to begin at 7 p.m.
