BACK IN ACTION: After playing three games in four days to start the season – including a pair in Florida to kick-off the year – the Chargers have been off since Monday but will return to the hardwood on Saturday evening when Montevallo visits Kelly Court at Spragins Hall for a 5:30 p.m. tip-off. UAH enters the contest at 1-2 on the season.
 
JARNAGIN LEADING THE WAY: Junior Halle Jarnagin has scored in double figures in each of the team's three contests of the season, averaging 11 points per game, and she is also the team leader on the glass as the Brentwood, Tennessee, native is averaging 7.3 rebounds per contest.
 
PUTTING IN TIME: The Chargers have seven players who are averaging 20 minutes or more per contest, and while four of those players are returning upperclassmen, the team is also relying on its freshman class heavily as Caroline Dodd (21.3), Chandler Elder (20.7), and Loren Foster (20.7) also have logged significant minutes.
 
ABOUT MONTEVALLO: The Falcons travel to Huntsville at 0-3 on the year with losses to Rollins, Saint Leo and North Alabama, and UNA reached the century mark against Montevallo, winning 100-54. Jacquelyn Thompson is leading the team with 14 points per contest.
 
SERIES HISTORY: UAH and Montevallo have met 60 times with the Chargers holding a 32-28 edge in the all-time series. Winners of four straight over the Falcons, UAH won 104-71 on the road in last year's contest as Alysse Bishop (15), Shannon Steinert (13), and Juanice Newton (10) were three of UAH's five players to score in double figures. Newton also grabbed 11 rebounds to notch a double-double.
