RECAPPING LAST WEEK: UAH won one match against Mississippi College this past week, while losing in contests to Shorter and Valdosta State. The Chargers offense totaled 138 kills with a .170 hitting percentage, while the defense collected 195 digs and 22 total blocks.
ON THE DEFENSE: Junior
Kennedie Lariscy led the UAH defense with 50 of the team's 195 digs this past week. Lariscy tied her season high with 19 digs on Tuesday at Shorter, her third time hitting the mark this season. This season Lariscy is ranked seventh in the GSC with a 3.72 dig per set average.
OFFENSIVE POSITIONING: The Chargers' .207 team hitting percentage is second in the league so far this season, led by freshman
Jordan Morrison who sits at 6th in the GSC with a .307 hitting percentage. Sophomore
Rachel Brugman is just behind Morrison at eighth in the conference with a .296 attacking percentage. Junior
Olivia Bauman has also been a force on offense ranking tenth in the GSC with a 2.79 kill per set average.
ABOUT THE FLAMES: Lee comes off a five-match week, which included a midweek GSC win over West Georgia. The Flames hosted the Lee Invitational over the weekend, picking up wins over Campbellsville and Southern Wesleyan. Erin Hill and Latrice Johnson, who both have 98 kills this season, lead the Lee offense.
THE MATCHUP: UAH enters the contest with a 20-12 all-time series record against Lee. The last matchup occurred on Nov. 15, 2013 and resulted in a five-set win at home for the Chargers. Brugman totaled 17 kills and a .500 hitting percentage in the victory.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE: Following Tuesday's match, the Chargers will start an eight-match road swing beginning on Thursday at 7 p.m. at West Alabama.
