RECAPPING THE UAH CLASSIC: The Chargers' record stands at 2-2 following the opening weekend of the 2014 season. UAH picked up wins against Miles and Trevecca Nazarene while dropping a pair of matches to Ouachita Baptist and Southwest Baptist.

CONTINUING THE HOMESTAND: The match against Union on Tuesday will be the fifth home game amidst the current seven-game homestand to start the season. The Chargers cap off the beginning home slate of games with three Gulf South Conference opponents in Union, West Florida and West Georgia.

NEWCOMER EXCITES: Freshman
Anna Claire Johnson had an outstanding first collegiate weekend with the Chargers, as she totaled a team-high 44 kills throughout the weekend. Her weekend was highlighted by a double-double against Ouachita Baptist (9/5) that included 19 kills and 15 digs. She also tallied 10 kills in Saturday's win over Trevecca Nazarene. Defensively, Johnson has posted 10 block assists and one solo block.

CONSISTENT OFFENSE: Junior
Haley Snyder posted a .304 hitting percentage through the opening four matches while notching 35 kills, two assists and two service aces. In the season opener against Miles, Snyder registered a perfect hitting percentage with five kills. She finished off the weekend with 13 kills in 28 chances, good for a .429 hitting percentage, in the win over Trevecca Nazarene on Saturday.

ABOUT THE OPPONENT: Union comes to Huntsville with a 2-2 overall record so far this season. The Lady Bulldogs have won their past two contests against Fort Hays and Henderson but were shutout in their opening matchups with Southeastern Oklahoma and Central Oklahoma.
