RECAPPING LAST WEEKEND: The Chargers went 1-1 a week ago, knocking off Shorter 1-0 on the road on Guy Clennett's score before falling at Lee 5-1. The setback to the then-No. 23 Flames marked the first loss in conference action for the Blue and White.
 
STANDINGS UPDATE: UAH continues to sit in first place despite the loss to Lee as West Alabama also fell last Sunday. The Chargers have 15 points to sit two clear of UWA who owns 13. Both teams have played six league games while third-place Lee owns 10 points while having played just four conference contests. The top seed at the end of the regular season with host the semifinals and the championship of the GSC tournament.
 
FRESHMAN IMPACT: A trio of Charger freshmen has been influential this season with Clennett earning GSC Freshman of the Week honors on Tuesday after scoring the game-winner at Shorter. Additionally, defender Jon Michael Stern has played nearly every minute on the season while helping the Chargers post six shutouts, and Gunnar Oddgeir has made significant contributions in starting the past five contests.
 
STEADY IN GOAL: In GSC matches, Michael Winstone leads the conference with 24 saves, while ranking third with a .774 save percentage. He averages 4.00 saves per contest and has helped the Chargers to a GSC-best four shutouts in the conference slate.
 
ABOUT WEST FLORIDA: After dropping two of three to start conference play, the Argos have won two straight – including a non-conference win over Concordia – to bring an 8-2 (2-2 GSC) record to the Rocket City. The Argos are allowing under a goal per game to its opposition with Jacob Murray and Andre Moreira splitting time in goal. Stephen Enderlin's five goals paces the team.
 
SERIES HISTORY: UAH is 12-16-4 all-time against the Argos after defeating UWF 1-0 in Pensacola, Florida, last season. In that contest, Winstone recorded six saves en route to posting the shutout.
 
ABOUT SPRING HILL: The Badgers visit Huntsville with a 2-8 overall mark, and the squad has lost five straight in GSC play to have an 0-5 record in conference action. Andrew McInnis has a team-high three goals, while Will Carpenter has a 1.87 goals against average in net for Sunday's visitors.
 
SERIES HISTORY: The Chargers own a 6-1-0 all-time mark against the Badgers, but it was Spring Hill who won the last meeting, claiming a 3-2 decision in Mobile, Alabama, a season ago.
