HOMESTAND CONTINUES: The Chargers will play three games in six days, starting with a Wednesday visit from Hiwassee that is slated for a 5:30 p.m. start at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall. UAH will then entertain a pair of SIAC opponents, hosting Tuskegee at 7 p.m. on Friday before Lane comes to town on Monday night at 5:30.

LAST TIME OUT: UAH played a strong first quarter against visiting Southern Indiana on Saturday, but the Screaming Eagles used a 30-point second quarter to pull away with the win. Chandler Elder led UAH with 12 points, while Halle Jarnagin was 4-for-8 from the field while also grabbing four rebounds.

BENCH PRODUCTION: Six reserves saw time in the setback to Southern Indiana, and the team received some offensive production from the bench as nearly 37 percent of the team's points came from those players. Freshman Baylee Johnson led the way with seven points including a perfect 3-for-3 showing at the charity stripe.

SHARING THE BALL: With Johnson's three leading the way, the Chargers recorded assists on nine of the team's 14 successful field goals in the home opener against Southern Indiana.

ABOUT HIWASSEE: The Tigers opened the campaign with a 67-66 win over Florida College, but have dropped three straight since then to come to Huntsville with a 1-3 record on the year.

SERIES HISTORY: The Chargers are 2-0 all-time against Wednesday's opponent after winning 68-45 last season. Loren Foster paced UAH in that victory, scoring a team-best 12 points.

ABOUT TUSKEGEE: After posting just two wins a season ago, Tuskegee is 1-1 on the new year after falling to Valdosta State but defeating West Georgia in the season's opening weekend. In the 71-69 win over UWG, Chelsea Azore led the way with 18 points.

SERIES HISTORY: UAH owns a 4-2 record in the all-time series with Tuskegee, and the last meeting came on March 16, 2013, when UAH was a 78-69 winner for the program's first-ever win in the NCAA tournament. Halle Jarnagin had a double-double in that contest, scoring 11 and grabbing 10 rebounds.

ABOUT LANE: Lane visits Huntsville at 0-1 after opening up the season with an 82-62 loss to perennial power Arkansas Tech. Pacing the team in the setback was Tashara Jones who logged 18 points and seven boards.
