HOME OPENER: The Chargers hit the floor at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall for the first time this season this weekend after opening up the 2015-16 campaign last week in the Sunshine State. UAH will take on Stillman at 5 p.m. on Friday before turning around to face Trevecca Nazarene at 3 p.m. on Saturday.

GENE LUSK CLASSIC: UAH will also be welcoming Shorter to the Rocket City this weekend as the Hawks will play TNU at 3 p.m. on Friday, and the GSC school will face Stillman at 1 p.m on Saturday.

RECAPPING LAST WEEKEND: In its season opener the Chargers rolled to an 82-61 win over Tampa before falling 93-90 in an overtime thriller at Saint Leo. Seab Webster averaged a team-best 15.5 points per contest as he paced the team in scoring both nights, and both he and Preston Herring logged a double-double in the season's opening weekend.

HIGH-OCTANE OFFENSE: Though the season is just two games old, the Chargers are averaging 86.0 points per game, and the team currently features four players who are averaging double figures with three others who are scoring at least 8.0 per game. Remarkably, UAH is, however, just fourth in the GSC in scoring offense with West Georgia leading the way with 106.7 points per contest.

TAKING ADVANTAGE: The Chargers do lead the GSC in free throw percentage, converting on a strong 80.4 percent of its attempts at the charity stripe after shooting 37-of-46 last weekend. Five Chargers have been perfect at the line with Greg Gardner's 7-for-7 performance leading the way.

ABOUT STILLMAN: The Tigers come to Huntsville riding a strong start to the season as the team is 3-0 with each of the victories coming against Gulf South Conference opponents including an 80-63 win over West Alabama on Tuesday night. In that contest, Rodnerius Lewis scored 32 points while also collecting seven rebounds to lead Stillman.

ALL-TIME SERIES: UAH owns a 7-1 advantage in the all-time series with the last meeting coming last season on Nov. 23, 2014, when UAH was a 75-62 winner. Webster led the Chargers with 25 points in the contest, while Herring had a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds.

ABOUT TREVECCA NAZARENE: TNU currently features a 1-1 record after beating Maryville 89-86 in its last time out. Byron Sanford turned in a strong showing in the victory, posting 26 points and seven rebounds.

ALL-TIME SERIES: The two programs have split the season series the past two years, giving the Trojans a 7-6 edge all-time against the Chargers. Last year in Huntsville, the Chargers won 95-70 as Webster was 10-for-15 from the field en route to scoring a team-best 26 points to be one of five Chargers to score in double figures.
