Live Stats | Watch LiveBACK AT HOME: The Chargers will play their first home conference games of the season this week, welcoming West Alabama on Thursday for a 5:30 p.m. tilt before hosting West Georgia at 2 p.m. on Saturday. UAH brings a 4-2 mark overall into the two-game set and is currently 1-1 in conference play.

RECAPPING LAST WEEK: UAH had a grueling week on the road, traveling to West Florida where the Chargers picked up an impressive 65-58 victory on Wednesday against the team picked to finish second in the conference. After returning back to Huntsville for the start of finals, the team then traveled to Valdosta where it was tripped up by VSU who won 62-53.

AMONG THE BEST: The Chargers rank in the top five among all Division II teams in three categories including rating as one of the best 3-point shooting teams in the country as the team is third with 10.0 3-pointers made per game while the squad's 44.1 percent shooting mark from beyond the arc is the fifth-best in the land. At the charity stripe, UAH is shooting 80.6 percent which also ranks third.

SHARP-SHOOTERS AND TOUGH D: In conference play, the Chargers ranked third in the conference in both field goal percentage and field goal percentage defense. In the two GSC contests, UAH has connected on 41.1 percent of its shots while limiting the opposition to a shooting rate just 35.7 percent.

CLEANING UP THE GLASS: Halle Jarnagin not only leads UAH in scoring with her 12.0 points per game scoring average, but she is also the team's best rebounder as she is grabbing 8.7 boards per game. That rebounding mark is the fifth-highest average in the GSC.

ABOUT WEST ALABAMA: West Alabama will visit the Tennessee Valley with a 4-2 overall mark and a 1-1 record in conference play after splitting last week's contests, defeating Mississippi College and falling to Delta State. Three players are scoring in double figures for the Tigers led by Ariel Wilson's 13.7 points per game, and Catherine Taylor is averaging 7.0 rebounds per contest.

SERIES HISTORY: UWA leads the all-time series by a 31-26 margin, but the two teams split the pair of meetings last season with both teams defending their home court. In Huntsville, UAH was a 58-49 winner as
Caroline Dodd scored a team-best 14 points after hitting three triples.

ABOUT WEST GEORGIA: The Wolves are off to a tough start to 2015-16, carrying a 1-7 (1-1 GSC) record into the week that sees them first travel to North Alabama on Thursday night. Katrina Littlepage is the second-best scorer in the GSC, leading West Georgia with an impressive 19.4 points per game.
