After Chandler Elder made a free throw that put the Chargers up 58-57 with seven seconds left in the contest, Ieshia Alexander drove the lane and was true on her layup attempt with 0.3 seconds on the clock to seal the game for the Hawks.

The biggest lead for either team in the game came at the 5:31 mark of the first half when a Mann layup produced a 28-19 advantage for the Hawks, but the Chargers held the guests without a field goal in the remainder of the period, going on a 9-0 run to tie the contest at 28-28 before Mann hit a free throw just prior to the expiration of the half to make it 29-28 in favor of the Hawks at the break.

UAH would go in front in the second half and led 50-45 with 7:20 left in the game, but Shorter outscored UAH 14-8 through the rest of the contest to earn the victory.
