MATCHING THE BEST: The Chargers owned an 11-0 record after wins over West Georgia and Lee to open GSC play this past week, tying the program's best start set in 1990 with 11 consecutive victories to start the campaign. However, UAH ended the week with a loss to Shorter on Saturday to slip to 11-1 and 2-1 in the GSC.

SWINGING SUCCESS: The UAH offense has been a catalyst for the hot start this season, as the Chargers rank 47th in the NCAA and second in the GSC with a team .235 hitting percentage.
Rachel Brugman leads all Chargers with 100 or more attacks with a .321 swing rate, aided by 17 kills on a .535 hitting percentage in three matches this past week. Â

AHEAD IN THE GSC: The Blue and White rank second in the GSC in hitting percentage (.235) and kills (573), while rating third in the league with a 12.95 assists per set average and 13.64 kills per set. Freshman

CBU opened the GSC slate last week with losses to Shorter and Union and a win over Mississippi College. Alexis Gillis paces the attack with 159 kills, while Marisa Wong leads the Bucs with 157 digs.

The Bulldogs opened league play last week with wins over CBU and Mississippi College. Union's offense is led by Ceciley Blanchard with 89 kills, while defensively the squad is paced by Elise Seufert with 115 digs and Casi Neff with 29 total blocks.
