RECENT ACTION: The Chargers had one win over West Alabama and a pair of losses on the road at West Florida and Valdosta State over the weekend, which bring the squad's record to 12-5 overall and 6-4 within the Gulf South Conference. Despite the losses, UAH remains fourth in the league standings, and is preceded by West Florida (9-1 GSC) in first, Shorter (8-2 GSC) in second and North Alabama (7-3 GSC) in third.
 
RISING FRESHMAN: A Birmingham, Alabama, native, Caroline Sanford has enjoyed a strong opening to her collegiate career, as the newcomer leads the team and is fifth in the GSC with 54.0 total blocks while also ranking third on the roster with 107 kills.
 
DEFENSIVE ANCHOR: Haley Hop has continued to grow in her sophomore campaign, as the Madison, Alabama, native paces the UAH defense and ranks eighth in the GSC with 4.00 digs per set and 228 digs. Hop has totaled 15 or more digs in a match eight times.
 
ON THE OFFENSE: Anna Claire Johnson enters the week's slate as the squad's leading attacker with 160 kills and a 2.91 kills per set average, and she ranks tied for eighth in the conference with 161 kills.
