FINALLY HOME: The UAH women's basketball team will return to action on Tuesday when its hosts its home opener, welcome Trevecca Nazarene to Kelly Court at Spragins Hall for a 5:30 p.m. tip-off. UAH enters the contest at 0-3.
 
LAST TIME OUT: On the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, Southern Indiana used a strong second half to defeat the Chargers 83-37. In the setback, 
Baylee Johnson led UAH's scorers as she had nine in the game.
 
LOOKING FOR A STRONG START: UAH is looking for its first home-opening victory since the 2013-14 season when the team steamrolled past Hiwassee 131-44, and the team will also be looking to build upon a strong home performance from last season when the Chargers were 11-4 at Spragins.
 
BALANCED EFFORT: Through the first three games of the year, the Chargers have had a different player lead the team in both scoring and rebounding in each contest. 
Chandler Elder, 
Loren Foster, and Johnson have all been the team's nightly leading scorer, while 
Caroline Dodd, 
Katie Speegle, and 
Aryn Sanders have been the individual game rebounding leader.
 
ABOUT TREVECCA NAZARENE: The Trojans come to the Rocket City with a 1-4 record after losing at UNA by a 72-43 score the day after Thanksgiving. Sarah Raby is the team's leading scorer as she is averaging 9.8 points per contest, and Megan Kilburn paces the team on the glass with a rebounding average of 5.8.
 
SERIES HISTORY: The Chargers are 1-3 all-time against Trevecca Nazarene with the brief series taking a hiatus last year. In 2014-15, the two programs met twice with UAH falling in both games including a 61-39 setback in the home opener that year.
