Tyler Harrison was masterful in the circle once again, tossing her seventh complete game and second shutout of the season in the victory as the junior scattered five hits while striking out nine and walking just one. Harrison's season ERA dropped 1.26, and opponents are now hitting just .180 off of her.
Â
The pitcher received the only run she would need in the game in the third as
Brianna Sullivan singled in
Haley Thompson to give the Chargers a 1-0 lead, and Harrison would then help her own cause by lifting a sacrifice fly to center later in the frame to plate
Savannah Smith.
Â
Harrison registered another sacrifice fly in the fifth, scoring Sullivan and creating the eventual 3-0 final.
Â
The Chargers had six hits in the contest, with Sullivan recording a pair from her spot at the top of the lineup, and

Â
The Chargers outhit Truman 5-4 in the game, and UAH also showed great patience at the plate, drawing eight walks with Sullivan taking a team-best three free passes.
