HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's lacrosse team won in dominating fashion over Ursuline on Tuesday afternoon at Charger Park by a final score of 20-10. UAH improves to 5-1 overall, while UC slips to 2-1.

The UAH attack was led by
Nicole Federovitch with a game-high five goals, followed by reigning Gulf South Conference Player of the Week
Natalie Pachinger with four goals and a team-best 10 ground balls.

Ursuline opened the scoring on Tuesday with a goal 35 seconds into the game, but the Chargers would rally for eight unanswered goals for an 8-1 lead highlighted by two early tallies apiece by
Elizabeth Brown and
Megan Hartnett.

The Arrows drew to 8-3 deficit with a pair of goals at 18:31 and 17:21 to end the Charger string of scoring. However, UAH rebounded with eight goals over the final 17 minutes in the first half to take a 16-3 lead into intermission.

The Chargers were outscored in the second half of the contest 7-4, but would hold on for the 20-10 victory. Federovitch paced UAH in the latter period with two goals.

Haleigh Com improved to 5-1 on the season in net after totaling seven saves in the contest despite 10 goals allowed.

UAH posted a season-high 43 ground balls in the win, with Pachinger's 10 leading the way followed by
Emily Wiegand with seven and
Bekka San Souci with six. San Souci also added three goals and two assists to the effort, while Wiegand notched a season-high three goals.

The Blue and White look ahead to a two-game road trip through the Sunshine State this weekend with non-conference games scheduled against Tampa on Saturday and Ave Maria on Sunday.
