The two teams will square off in the rubber match on Sunday with the first pitch slated for 1 p.m.

UAH 6, West Florida 0

Behind a masterful pitching performance and several strong showings at the plate, the Chargers cruised to a 6-0 win in the opener as Tyler Harrison went the distance for her 12th complete game and fifth shutout while running her record to 14-2 on the season.

The junior allowed just three hits and struck out six.

Savannah Smith finished the contest with a team-best three hits, and she started the scoring in the second when she singled in Abby Roberts who was also one of four Chargers to have a multi-hit day as she registered a pair.

The contest remained 1-0 until the fourth when Jada Hayes singled in Smith and Harrison to give UAH a 3-0 advantage, and Roberts tacked onto the UAH lead in the fifth with an RBI single.

The Chargers scored twice more in the sixth as Hayes picked up her second hit and third RBI of the game before Haley Thompson drove in a run on a sacrifice bunt to produce the 6-0 final.

Taylor Wascavage also had a pair of hits in the contest.

West Florida 5, UAH 4

The Argos jumped out to a 3-0 lead and then scored a run in the top of the seventh to win the second day of the game 5-4.

After the visitors grabbed the early lead, UAH answered right back with a pair of runs in the bottom half of the first on an RBI double from Kaitlin Bannister and a sac fly off the bat of Harrison that made it 3-2.

UWF, however, would get one of those runs back in the second, and the score remained 4-2 until the fifth when the Chargers would tie it up on another big hit from Hayes as she finished the day with five total runs driven in, singling down the right field line to plate two and make it 4-4.

West Florida – who outhit UAH 10-8 in the contest – then scored in the seventh and worked around a one-out double from Smith in the home half to secure the victory.

Bannister finished the game with three hits, while both Brianna Sullivan and Hayes had a pair.
