- After being tied early at 5-5 in the second stanza, the Chargers benefitted from a 5-0 rally with Johnson serving to extend the lead to 13-7.
- The Blue and White continued to roll into the final frame of the night, jumping out to a 17-2 lead and ending the contest on a 25-9 win in the third set.
