HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's soccer team bounced back on Sunday afternoon, using a second-half surge to push past visiting Union 4-1 at Charger Park. The Chargers improve to 6-5-2 (5-1-2 Gulf South Conference) with the win, while UU slips to 3-9-0 (3-6-0 GSC).

Turning Points
-Union opened the scoring in the contest in the fifth minute, with Andre Silva capitalizing on a free kick awarded to the visiting side just outside the top of the box, and the score would remain that way through the halftime break.
-The Chargers got on the board in the 53rd minute when
Jordan Wright played a great ball into the middle of the box and past the Union keeper which then allowed
Khalil Bell to finish it to level the game at 1-1, and the team wasted no time whatsoever gaining the advantage as just 25 seconds later,

Corentin Diverres who scored to make it 2-1 in favor of UAH.
-Giving UAH a commanding 3-1 lead, Wright scored an unassisted tally in the 60th minute, and the contest was sealed by Diverres when he took a cross from Bell and buried it in the 74th minute with heavy rain falling on the Charger Park pitch.

-UAH held a wide 17-8 advantage in shots including a 9-3 edge in attempts that were on target, while Union built up a slim 3-2 edge in corners.
-Diverres fired off a team-high six shots, while Bell led the team in shots on goal with three on the afternoon.
