HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville volleyball team topped Christian Brothers in a Gulf South Conference matchup on Friday evening at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall by a score of 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-16). UAH rises to 18-9 (6-3 GSC), while CBU slips to 12-14 (5-5 GSC).
 
Turning Point
- The Chargers controlled the contest from the outset with a 25-18 win in the opening stanza prior to taking the ensuing two sets by consecutive scores of 25-16 to notch the three-set victory over the Buccaneers.
 
Inside the Box Score
- Isabelle Barnes had a spectacular performance on both sides of the ball as she led the squad with eight kills and a .467 hitting percentage in addition to a team-best seven total blocks.
- UAH also benefitted from three additional players with five kills or more including Caroline Sanford with six kills and Jordan Grammer and Anna Claire Johnson with five successful swats apiece.
