HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville volleyball team opened the week with a 3-1 loss (23-25, 25-23, 24-26, 22-25) to Gulf South Conference opponent Lee on Tuesday evening at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall. UAH dips to 12-7 (3-3 GSC), while LU improves to 11-4 (5-2 GSC).

Turning Point
- With the match tied 1-1 following a 25-23 win by the Chargers in the second set, Lee was able to take the 2-1 match lead on a 26-24 edging in the third on the way to the four-set win after a 25-22 match-sealing victory in the fourth.

Caroline Sanford with a team-high 12 kills and a .423 hitting percentage, and she also tied for the team lead defensively with five total blocks (1 BS, 4 BA).
