Hop's Career-High 31 Digs Leads UAH to 3-1 Win at CBU

Box Score MEMPHIS, Tenn. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville volleyball team capped off its regular season road schedule with a 3-1 win (25-22, 25-20, 14-25, 25-21) over Christian Brothers in a Gulf South Conference matchup on Saturday afternoon. UAH improves to 22-10 (10-4 GSC), while CBU slips to 14-17 (6-8 GSC).
 
Turning Point
- After Christian Brothers climbed back in the fourth set to cut the Chargers lead to 22-21, UAH proceeded to seal the 3-1 win over the Bucs by scoring the final three points of the match for the 25-21 victory in the fourth.
 
Inside the Box Score
- Haley Hop had a stellar performance defensively for the Chargers with a match-best 31 digs in the contest.
- Junior Lorah Yonce paced the UAH attack with a team-best 11 kills and a .280 hitting percentage, followed by fellow junior with 10 kills and a .276 swing rate.
- Six Chargers had four kills or more.
- LeDuc was one of two Chargers to record a double-double with 10 kills and 13 digs, as Sabrina Duncan also posted 13 assists and 10 digs in the win.
- A Bentonville, Arkansas, native, LeDuc additionally paced the team with two service aces.
- Isabelle Barnes and Caroline Sanford tied for the team-high in total blocks with four apiece, while Barnes finish tied for third on the roster with eight kills.
 
Noteworthy
- Hop's 31 digs are a career-best for the junior, with her previous best of 28 recorded against Georgia College (Sept. 12) in her freshman season.
- UAH has totaled 70 or more digs in five matches this season.
- The Chargers road record of 8-3 in the regular season is the first winning road record for the program since 2014.
