RECENT ACTION: The Chargers were set back in their most recent outing in a trip to West Alabama, as the Tigers topped the Blue & White 62-55 in a GSC matchup on Sunday.
Chandler Elder paced the UAH offense in the contest with a career-high 24 points in addition to 10 rebounds.

SENIOR LEADERSHIP: Elder has been the Chargers strongest all-around performer so far in the 2017-18 campaign, as she is second on the roster in points per game (12.1), first in rebounds per game (8.6), and first in assists per game (2.9). Entering the weekend matchup, Elder has four games with 10 points or more and has accrued two double-doubles through seven contests.

FROM THE LINE: Katie Speegle owns a league-leading .944 free-throw percentage entering the Saturday contest, making 17 of 18 shots from the charity strip thus far in 2017-18. Speegle has markedly improved from the free-throw line from her freshman season in 2016-17 when she finished with a .826 free-throw rate.

PANTHERS PROFILE: Claflin begins the week with a 5-4 overall record and a 3-1 mark within its SIAC schedule in 2017-18, after most recently topping Livingstone College 75-62 on Monday. The Panthers boast four players scoring in double-digits led by Joy Okeke with 12.3 points per game while Jhanice Stokes paces the squad on the boards with 8.4 rebounds per game.
