FAIRBANKS, Alaska | The University of Alabama in Huntsville hockey team earned the series split at Western Collegiate Hockey Association opponent Alaska Fairbanks on Saturday night by a final score of 4-1 at the Carlson Center. UAH improves to 8-19-3 (8-13-3 WCHA), while UAF slips to 9-16-3 (8-11-3 WCHA).

- The Chargers benefitted from a pair of first period goals by
Brennan Saulnier at 1:12 and
Josh Kestner at 15:51 – which went on to be the game-winner – en route to the 4-1 victory in the series finale.

- Saulnier put the Chargers on the board first on Saturday as he knocked home a rebound shot by freshman
Connor James at the 1:12 mark of the opening period.
- Later on in the first, Kestner delivered his ninth goal of the season off a one-timer on a power play, thanks to assists by

Max McHugh with four apiece.
