FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. | After being no-hit and falling 2-0 in the day's first game at Nova Southeastern, the No. 23 UAH softball team bounced back in a big way to win 12-0 behind a one-hit performance by
Tyler Harrison. UAH moves to 6-2 on the season, while NSU goes to 1-6.

-Lexie Storrer was strong in the circle for the Sharks as she tossed a no-hitter, going seven innings and striking out four while allowing just three base runners in the form of a pair of walks and another that reached on an error.

Emily Glover was charged with the loss in the circle as she tossed all six innings while striking out seven but also walking five. The senior scattered four hits and surrendered the two runs.

-With the bases loaded in the top of the first, a wild pitch allowed Sydney Lageyre to score after she had been hit by a pitch earlier in the inning.
-UAH's biggest threat came in the top of the third inning when Harrison reached on an error to start the inning before stealing second, and Thompson would draw a two-out walk to give the Chargers runners at first at second before Storrer picked up a strikeout for the third out.
-Storrer then singled to lead off the bottom half of the inning, and she would later score on a sacrifice fly from Dominique Sprengers to score NSU's other run.

-Harrison was tremendous in the circle, allowing just one hit in the game while striking out an astonishing 10 in the five-inning game while also walking none on her way to moving to 2-1 on the season. For good measure, she also drove in a run and scored once while going 2-for-3 at the plate.

-Harrison's showing is her best in a complete game since she no-hit Miles on April 9, 2015, and she matches her career-best in strikeouts with the 10. She previously struck out 10 at West Georgia on Feb. 27, 2016, and against Arkansas Tech on April 22, 2015.
-Thompson has now scored a team-high 14 times, and she has scored multiple times in five of the team's eight games.
-Harrison and Miller both move into a tie for second on the squad having driven in seven runs on the season.
-Bannister's RBI in the nightcap is her team-leading 14th of the season.
