YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's lacrosse team advanced to the Gulf South Conference Invitational Championship game with a 20-14 win over Shorter in a semifinal matchup on Friday. UAH improves to 14-4, while SU ends its season at 10-6.

- Pachinger's 10 draw controls are the most in a single game in program history, as the junior previously notched eight in a game against Montevallo (April 15).
- Kruse now has a career-high in goals (5) and points (6) for a single game, and has accrued five or more ground balls on four occasions.
- UAH has scored 20 or more goals in a game in three straight games and in 10 contests this season.

- With the game knotted at 3-3 with 20:46 remaining, UAH pulled ahead with three goals – highlighted by two Federovitch tallies – to lead 6-3.
- A trio of markers by the Hawks again tied the contest, but the Chargers put together its biggest rally of the game in a 5-0 run thanks to goals by Carr at 8:54, Shepherd at 8:33,
Bekka San Souci at 8:10, Kruse at 7:25, and Pachinger at 4:46 on the way to a 13-7 lead at the half.
- Shorter owned the edge at the outset of the second half with two goals to UAH's one with 22:01 remaining, but the Chargers compounded its lead with four consecutive goals to push the advantage to 18-9.
- The Hawks outscored UAH down the stretch 5-2, but it was not enough to overcome the advantage as the Chargers took the matchup 20-14.
