HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville eighth-seeded baseball team came away an 11-5 winner over fourth-seeded Valdosta State on Sunday afternoon at Ferriss Field in day two of the 2017 Gulf South Conference Tournament. UAH improves to 23-26, while VSU dips to 33-19.

- With the Chargers clinging to a 6-5 lead entering the bottom of the seventh, sophomore
Nolan Ramsey proceeded to hit a grand slam to put UAH ahead 10-5 on the way to the 11-5 victory over VSU.
