RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville volleyball team opened play at the Holiday Inn Spikefest at Arkansas Tech on Friday with a loss to No. 15 Central Missouri by a 3-0 score (31-33, 20-25, 11-25) and a win over Ouachita Baptist by a score of 3-0 (25-22, 25-21, 27-25). UAH now owns a 9-2 overall record, while UCM improves to 7-3 and OBU moves to 8-3.

Turning Point
- After a hard-fought battle between the Chargers and Jennies in the first set with UCM coming away with a 33-31 win, Central Missouri posted a 25-20 win in the second frame on the way to the 3-0 match victory over UAH.
