HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's soccer team closed out non-conference action on Tuesday, dropping a 4-0 decision to visiting Carson-Newman at Charger Park. The Chargers slip to 3-4-0 on the year, while the Eagles improve to 6-1-0.

Turning Points
-Carson-Newman tallied its first goal early, scoring in the sixth minute as Tobias Solem Karlsen netted his fifth of the season, and the score would remain 1-0 in favor of the guests through the halftime break.
-The Chargers then threatened to equalize in the beginning stages of the second half, outshooting the visitors by a 5-3 clip during the first 26 minutes of the period, but a Tom Read corner was deflected into the goal by the Chargers in the 73rd to put the Eagles up 2-0.
-The scoring for the contest was then rounded out by Read's goal in the 81st and Collin Hensel's score in the 87th.

-The visitors held a 16-13 advantage in shots on the contest while holding a wider 7-2 margin in shots that were on target as UAH's quality chances mostly were not on goal.
