MONTGOMERY, Ala. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's soccer team picked up a signature win on Friday evening, defeating No. 20 Florida Tech 2-1 in a neutral site game played on the campus of Auburn Montgomery. UAH improves to 1-2-0 on the year, while FIT slips to 2-0-1.

Turning Points
-The Chargers opened the scoring just before the half when
Khalil Bell broke down the middle, and he then chipped it past the aggressive FIT keeper to put UAH up 1-0.
-The score remained that way until the 68th minute when Brandon Smalley scored for the Panthers to make it a 1-1 game, but a pair of freshmen would team up just a few minutes later in the 75th put the Chargers back in front.
-The game-winner came off the foot of
Erik Sandnes after a nice run down the right side from fellow freshman
Nolan Dillon who picked up the assist on the tally.
-The Panthers would create a handful of dangerous scoring chances in the waning moments but never found the target again as UAH secured the victory.

-Florida Tech outshot the Chargers by a 16-8 margin, but UAH held a 6-4 advantage in shots that were on goal.

-Fullen's victory represents his fifth career win in goal for UAH.
-The contest was UAH's third straight against a nationally-ranked opponent.
