HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's basketball team topped rival No. 20 North Alabama in overtime by a final score of 87-81 on Saturday afternoon at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall in a Gulf South Conference matchup. UAH rises to 11-7 (5-6 GSC), while UNA dips to 16-2 (9-2 GSC).

- UAH led by as much as five with a 16-11 advantage with 2:31 to play in the first quarter, but UNA rebounded with an 8-1 run to close out the period to lead UAH 19-17.
- The Chargers jumped out with a 15-6 run in the initial 5:50 of the second to help the squad to a 36-35 advantage heading into the half, aided by six points apiece from Sanders and Speegle in the frame.
- After a defensive-heavy beginning to the third quarter, UNA maintained a lead that would not go over six points during the period as the Lions outscored the Chargers 25-18 in the frame to own a 60-54 advantage entering the fourth.
