UAH Wins over Lynn, Falls to Embry-Riddle Friday at South Region Crossover

ORLANDO, Fla. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville volleyball team opened play at the South Region Crossover on Friday, with the squad winning 3-0 (25-18, 25-23, 25-18) over Lynn before a 3-0 loss (16-25, 20-25, 22-25) to Embry-Riddle. UAH moves to 19-7 overall after the two contests.

- After UAH took an early lead on a 25-19 win in the first, the Chargers edged the Fighting Knights 25-23 in the second to take a commanding lead on the way to the three-set victory.

- Isabelle Barnes led the Chargers attack with a team-high 15 kills on a .345 hitting percentage while also leading the roster with seven blocks.
- Anna LeDuc followed Barnes on the attack with 13 kills on a team-high .458 hitting percentage in the match.
