HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's soccer team sent its trio of seniors out in style, defeating visiting Shorter 1-0 in the 2018 home finale at Charger Park on Sunday. The Chargers improve to 4-11-2 (3-8-1 Gulf South Conference) with the victory, while the Hawks fall to 3-12-1 (1-8-1 GSC).
 
Turning Point
-The only goal that the Chargers would need in the game came in the 28th minute as senior Hannah Oglesby's corner kick sailed into the goal to give the home team the 1-0 advantage that would hold through the remainder of the contest.
 
Inside the Box Score
-The Chargers established an 11-9 advantage in shots in the contest including a wide 8-4 margin in attempts that were on goal, and UAH earned two corners in the game compared to just one for the Hawks.
-Oglesby had a team-high four shots in the game, and each of her efforts were on target.
-Rachel Collins also had a multi-shot game as she fired off three including two that were on goal.
-Megan Buford posted four saves in earning the clean sheet in goal for the Chargers.

-Alex Barnett, Mia Jetsu, and Oglesby were all honored before the match as they played their final match at Charger Park.
