HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's soccer team cruised to a 4-2 victory on Sunday, knocking off visiting Auburn Montgomery at Charger Park. UAH improves to 3-9-1 (2-6-0 GSC), while AUM slips to 2-8-0 (2-6-0 GSC).

Turning Points
-The Chargers found themselves in an early hole as AUM's Ruby Mendez scored in the seventh minute, but it would not take long for the home side to respond as the UAH earned a penalty in the 22nd minute, with
Mia Jetsu burying it to level the game at 1-1.
-Jetsu then put the Chargers on top in the 38th minute off an assist from
Hannah Oglesby, and the hosts would grab a 3-1 lead just before the half as Kirsten LaPlante scored from
Carly Fee and
Taylor Wilson in the 45th.
-The Warhawks pulled briefly back within one as Mendez scored her second of the game in the 67th minute, but
Taylor Wilson's score from LaPlante in the 76th minute sealed the contest with the 4-2 final.

-The guests outshot UAH by a 16-13 margin, but it was the Chargers who made the most of their attempts, establishing an 11-6 edge in shots that were on target.
-UAH also built up a 4-3 edge in corners.

-The two goals for Jetsu mark the second time that a Charger has had a multi-goal effort this season, and the two goals mark the first of Jetsu's career.
-The PK is the first for UAH this season and the first since
Lauren Mayer buried one on Oct. 9, 2017, against Oakwood.
-The goal for LaPlante is her first in the Blue and White, and Wilson also logs her first career strike.
-Oglesby's assist is her third of the season, while Fee earns her first point of the year.
-Buford now owns 75 saves on the year.
