FAIRBANKS, Alaska | The University of Alabama in Huntsville hockey team opened a two-game Western Collegiate Hockey Association series on Friday night with a 3-1 win at Alaska Fairbanks at the Carlson Center. UAH improves to 1-10-0 (1-4-0 WCHA), while UAF dips to 1-8-2 (1-3-1 WCHA).

- After a 1-1 tie following 20 minutes of play on Friday, UAH scored a pair of unanswered goals in the second and third period to secure the Chargers first win of the 2018-19 season.
