FAIRBANKS, Alaska | The University of Alabama in Huntsville hockey team was edged 2-1 in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association series finale at Alaska Fairbanks on Saturday night at the Carlson Center. UAH dips to 1-11-0 (1-5-0 WCHA), while UAF improves to 2-8-2 (2-3-1 WCHA).

- After a late UAH goal in the first period knotted the game at 1-1, the Chargers and Nanooks carried the tie late into the third period until UAF took the decisive lead with 1:18 remaining in the frame on a tally by Steven Jandric.
