FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's basketball fought tough on Saturday but eventually lost 72-68 at host Nova Southeastern. The Chargers slip to 1-3, while the Sharks improve to 3-2.

-With NSU leading by just one at 56-55 with under five minutes left in the game, the Sharks would outscore the Chargers 16-7 to go up by 10 at 72-62 with just 18 seconds left in the game.

-UAH took the game's first lead and would be ahead or tied until the 4:54 mark of the opening quarter when NSU took its first advantage, and the Sharks would go ahead by four before a
Sloan Mann 3-pointer near the end of the quarter made it a 16-15 game going into the second.
-It was more of the same in the second quarter with UAH going in front early in the period before NSU pushed out to as much as a six-point advantage, and another late Charger push pulled the guests to within two at 32-30 at the halftime break.
-Harris tied the game for UAH on the first possession in the third, and a 3-pointer by her at the 8:11 mark put the Chargers ahead, but the quarter would end with the hosts on top 51-47.
-The Sharks then remained in front through the fourth, using the late spurt to go up by double digits for the first time before UAH was able to pull within four in creating the 72-68 final.

-Speegle has now scored in double figures in three straight games and is nearly averaging a double-double with 13.8 points and 9.3 rebounds per game.
-The 12 points for Harris is a season-best performance for the true freshman.
-The Chargers again set a season low in turnovers, giving it away just 12 times in the contest.
