UAH Scores Three Times in Third Period to Notch 4-2 Win at Bemidji State

BEMIDJI, Minn. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville picked up a 4-2 win over rival Bemidji State in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association series finale on Saturday night at the Sanford Center. UAH improves to 2-14-0 (2-8-0 WCHA), while BSU slips to 7-7-2 (5-4-1 WCHA).
 
Turning Point
- The Chargers turned the tables in the third period with a total of three goals in the frame to turn a 2-1 deficit into a 4-2 advantage on the way to the WCHA victory over Bemidji State.
 
Scoring Breakdown
- Bemidji State led off the scoring in the contest as Charlie Combs scored unassisted at 7:04, prior to the hosts extending their lead to 2-0 on a tally by Dillon Eichstadt at 8:09.
- The Chargers slimmed the deficit to 2-1 on a goal by Connor Wood at 12:15, thanks to assists by Adam Wilcox and Connor James.
- Following a scoreless second period, UAH dominated the third period with a total of three goals by Bauer Neudecker at 3:56, Cam Knight at 4:34, and Connor Merkley at 13:43 to complete the 4-2 victory at BSU.
