LIVINGSTON, Ala. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's tennis team fell on the road on Tuesday, dropping a 9-0 decision at West Alabama. The Chargers slip to 2-5 (1-3 Gulf South Conference), while UWA improves to 4-2 (1-1 GSC).

UAH's strongest showing in doubles came at the No. 3 where
Noah Pring and
James Caddies battled to the end before ultimately falling 9-8 (4).

In singles action, Caddies turned in another strong performance as he bounced back from an opening-set loss at the No. 2 of 6-2 to respond with a 6-4 win in the second set, but the opponent then won 11-9 to claim the point.

At the top position,
Timo Christen took seven games from the Tigers in falling 7-5, 6-2, while Guilhereme Coleta dropped a 6-4, 6-4 decision at the fourth.

UAH will be back in action on Thursday when the team travels to Birmingham Southern for a 4 p.m. contest.
