RECENT ACTION: The Chargers dropped their first GSC match of the season by a score of 18-15 to reigning-GSC invitational champion Young Harris this past Saturday in Young Harris, Georgia. UAH was led by three players with four points on offense in the contest.

SOPHOMORE SURGE: Abbey O'Brien is off to a hot start in her sophomore season, as she's posted a career-high goal total in back-to-back games to start the season with three tallies against Birmingham-Southern (Feb. 11) followed by a team-high four markers against YHC on Saturday. O'Brien enters the week tied for second on the roster with seven goals and 12 shots on goal.

SPEADING THE ATTACK: The Chargers – who lead the GSC with 20 goals per game through two contests –  have five players with five goals or more, with all five owning at least seven points this season. Three Chargers rank in the top 10 in scoring in the GSC, including
Alanna Carvalho (8 goals), O'Brien (7 goals) and
Kinta Schott (7 goals).

TOP DRAWER: While ranking tied for second on the roster with seven goals, Schott leads the Blue & White with 10 draw controls this season, giving her an average of 5.00 per game which rates fourth in the GSC. Schott is well above her 2017 average so far as a sophomore, as she totaled 23 draw controls for an average of 1.21 per game. Â

FLAMES PROFILE: Lee boasts a 2-0 record to start its second season of existence, after a pair of wins this past week against Point and Erskine to begin the 2018 season. The Flames offense is led by Becca Broadwick with a team-high nine points (7g-2a), while Abby Sanders has played the full time in goal for an 8.50 goals against average and a .414 save percentage.

SERIES HISTORY: UAH is 2-0 all-time against LU, after winning both matchups last season by a combined score of 35-7.

FALCONS PROFILE: Montevallo enters the week with a 3-2 overall record and a 0-1 mark within the GSC, following a 22-11 loss at Young Harris on Sunday. The Falcons are paced on offense by Nicole Pahnke with 32 goals and six assists for a team-high 38 points, while Irfana Ahmed has played the majority of time between the pipes with a 14.42 goals against average and a .488 save percentage.

SERIES HISTORY: The Chargers are 4-0 all-time versus the Falcons, as UAH won twice over Montevallo last season at home on Feb. 22 by a 21-11 score followed by a 22-7 win in Montevallo on April 15.
