UPCOMING WEEK: The Chargers continue Gulf South Conference play on Wednesday with a trip to Shorter for a 3 p.m. matchup, which will be the squad's third conference game in a span of eight days.

RECENT ACTION: UAH picked up two conference victories in the past week with a 26-7 win at Charger Park last Wednesday over Lee prior to a 22-5 victory at Montevallo on Saturday. The Chargers enter the week second in GSC play with a 2-1 league record.

SWEEPING AWARDS: For the second time in program history, UAH swept the GSC's weekly awards as Alanna Carvalho earned GSC Offensive Player of the Week, Kinta Schott garnered GSC Defensive Player of the Week and Ava Boethig was named GSC Freshman of the Week. Carvalho's weekly honor is her second of the season, while both Boethig and Schott collect their first awards of the season.

LEADING OFFENSE: The Chargers are averaging 20.00 goals per game through four games in the 2018 season, after leading the NCAA in scoring offense for the first two seasons of the program's existence in 2016 and 2017. UAH boasts four players in the top 10 in the GSC in goals per game, led by Carvalho who is second in the league with 4.25 goals per game followed by Nicole Federovitch (T6th, 3.00 GPG), Schott (T6th, 3.00 GPG) and Shannon Kruse (8th, 2.75 GPG).

BETWEEN THE PIPES: Leslie Allen Brown has played in all four of the Chargers games in goal and started three of those times, accumulating an 8.43 goals against average and a .432 save percentage over 177 minutes played. Brown's 8.43 goals against average rates second so far in the GSC, which is below her 2017 goals against average of 10.45.

HAWKS PROFILE: Shorter begins the week with a 0-2 record and a 0-1 mark in conference play, after a 20-11 loss this past Saturday in a nonconference matchup against Palm Beach Atlantic. The Hawks offense is led by Allie Perry with a team-high five goals, while Peyton Reid has played the full time in goal with a 19.50 goals against average and a .264 save percentage.
