CLEVELAND, Tenn. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's tennis team fell on Wednesday, dropping a 7-2 decision at Lee. The Chargers slip to 4-7 (2-5 Gulf South Conference), while the Flames improve to 7-3 (2-2 GSC).

In the contest, it was UAH who earned the first point as the No. 3 pairing in doubles of
James Caddies and
Noah Pring teamed up for an 8-4 win, but the Flames would win the remaining two doubles matches to take a 2-1 lead into singles play.

The Flames then earned wins at the first, second, and sixth positions in singles action to seal the match.

The other point for the Chargers came at the No. 4 where
Tim Nutz bounced back from a 5-7 setback in the opening set to win 6-3, 10-8.

Guilhereme Coleta also played to three sets, winning the opener by a 6-3 score before falling 6-3, 6-2 at the fifth spot.

Each of UAH's other players in singles took seven games from the opponents with
Dylan Hall falling 6-2, 7-5,
Elliot Hopson dropping a 6-3, 6-4 decision, and both Caddies and Pring falling by 6-4, 6-3 scores.

The Chargers will be back at it on Sunday when the team travels to Division I foe Samford for a doubleheader that starts at 10 a.m.
