UAH 13, Christian Brothers 5
Game Changer
-After CBU scored the game's first run, Jada Hayes hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the first to put the Chargers up, and a six-run second from the hosts put the game away.

Inside the Box Score
-The Chargers outhit CBU by a 12-6 clip, and eight of the hits for UAH were for extra bases.
-Each of Regan Malone, Shelby Booker, Brooke Miller, and Hayes had a pair of hits.
-Hayes had the home run and a team-best three RBI, while Amber Hammonds and Ashely Cornell both drove in a pair of runs in the game.
-Hammonds also hit a home run, Malone recorded a pair of triples, and each of Alaina Hampton, Booker, Miller, and Cornell doubled in the contest.
-The Chargers swiped five bags in the game with Booker's pair leading the way.
-Kiara Akles no-hit the Lady Bucs through the first three innings and ended up working around six hits while giving up five runs of which only three were earned, and she struck out four and walked none.

Key Plays
-After the Hayes homer lifted the Chargers to a 2-1 lead after the first inning, the home team took complete control of the contest by scoring six times in the second in an inning that saw Cornell double in a pair, Malone triple to plate a run, Hayes knock in a run on a single, and Hammonds punctuate the inning with a two-run jack.
-The score remained 8-1 in favor of UAH until the fourth when CBU got on the board again to make it 8-2, but Booker, Talyor Wascavage, Miller, and Hampton all drove in runs to make it a five-run inning that lifted the Chargers to a 13-1 lead.
-CBU then scored three times in the top of the fifth, but it was not enough to avoid the run rule going into effect to end the game early.

Noteworthy
-Malone matches the UAH single-game record for triples with the pair, becoming the sixth player in program history to do so and becoming the first since Kelli Long had a pair against North Georgia on March 13, 2011.
-The Chargers now have 11 triples as a team on the year, moving past last year's total for the entire season of nine.
-Akles is now 6-2 in the circle on the year.

-CBU then scored twice in the third, and the scoring was rounded out by Cornell's two-run shot down the left field line to create the 14-2 final.
