Spring Break Concludes with Home Setback to AUM

HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville tennis teams fell to new conference foe Auburn Montgomery on Friday as the men's team dropped a narrow 5-4 decision to move to 5-13 (3-7 Gulf South Conference) on the year while the women's team fell 6-3 to go to 6-9 (4-6 GSC). AUM's men improve to 7-6 (5-3 GSC), while AUM's women go to 7-7 (6-3 GSC).

Noteworthy
-Caddies improves to 9-7 on the season including a strong 7-3 mark in GSC play, and he has three wins in his last four singles matches including a pair of victories in which he has permitted his opponent to win just three games.
-Hall has now won three singles matches in a row for his longest winning streak of the season, and he now has six victories on the year.
 
Next Time Out
-The Chargers will return to action on Wednesday when Division I foe Chattanooga visits Huntsville at 4 p.m.

-Injuries forced the Chargers to only be able to utilize four players, and the team won three of the six matches in which it was able to field players.
-Mehlich is a team-best 9-4 in singles action, and she has wins in four of her last five appearances.
-Stearman records her sixth singles win on the season which includes four victories against GSC competition.
