UPCOMING WEEK: UAH (4-1, 3-1 GSC) has a pair of nonconference matchups at Charger Park this week beginning on Wednesday at 1 p.m. against Marian (3-0) before wrapping up the week on Friday against Mars Hill (1-2).
 
RECENT ACTION: The Chargers improved to 4-1 and 3-1 in the Gulf South Conference slate with a 23-6 win at Shorter this past Wednesday, as six different players totaled two points or more led by Nicole Federovitch with a team-best 11 points on eight goals and three assists.
 
SCORING POTENCY REMAINS: After eclipsing the 20-goal mark for the third consecutive game, UAH remains atop NCAA Division II with 22.20 goals per game through five contests this season. The Chargers offense is paced by Alanna Carvalho (21 goals) and Federovitch (20 goals) who are both in the top 15 in the nation in scoring.
 
ON THE DRAW: Kinta Schott – now a two-time GSC Defensive Player of the Week – enters the week second in the conference and 41st nationally with a team-best 5.40 draw controls per game following a team-high seven draw controls at Shorter. With 27 total draw controls in 2018, Schott has already eclipsed her career-high of 23 draw controls from last season.
 
IN THE CAGE: Leslie Allen Brown has played the majority of time in goal for the Chargers with an 8.08 goals against average and a .451 save percentage, ranking second in the conference in both statistical categories.
 
LOOKING AHEAD: After Friday's game against Mars Hill, UAH will be away from the Rocket City for six consecutive games beginning with a neutral site matchup against Rollins in Cumming, Georgia on March 17.
 
KNIGHTS PROFILE: Marian begins the week with a 3-0 overall record after most recently topping Missouri Valley by a score of 18-4 on Monday. The Knights offense is led by Jullia Robson with 15 goals and six assists, while Casey Monahan has played the full time in goal with a 7.01 goals against average and a .512 save percentage.
 
SERIES HISTORY: Wednesday will be the first-ever meeting between UAH and MU.
 
LIONS PROFILE: Amidst its inaugural season, Mars Hill owns a 1-2 overall record after most recently falling 18-3 at home to Concordia-St. Paul last Wednesday. The Lions are led offensively by Olivia Hokanson's 12 points on 10 goals and two assists, while Alexandria Holleran has started all three games for the Lions with a 13.33 goals against average and a .474 save percentage.
 
SERIES HISTORY: Friday will be the first-ever meeting between UAH and MHU.
